How are my cookies packaged?

Your cookies are baked fresh for sending, and I heat seal each individual cookie to ensure they stay fresh for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. They're then packaged up in a sturdy box and handed over to the lovely Posties :)

Is the packaging recyclable?

I strive to make as much of the packaging recyclable as I can, from the wood wool padding to the kraft boxes themselves. The plastic bags I use to heat seal bags are the only thing at the moment that isn't recyclable, but as soon as I can find some that are, I'll let you know!

How long does delivery take?

I use Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery, as I want the cookies to get to you as fast as possible for optimum freshness. I sincerely hope the posties are gentle with my boxes, so I hope and pray with each delivery they get to you all safely but I can't account for any delays in the system once they're posted unfortunately. My fingers are, and shall remain, crossed!

If I have a nut allergy can I eat these cookies?

I bake in an open kitchen in my home, and as such I can't guarantee there won't be nuts in a 'nut free' bake. I do my very best to make sure that all ingredients and utensils are kept separate, but I would advise caution.

How long can my cookies be stored for?

When you receive your cookies, you can keep them in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or you can even separate them with parchment paper and put them in a ziplock bag in the freezer for 2-3 months to keep the CrumbLab joy going. The choice is yours! However any cookies in my house don't tend to last longer than 24 hours ;)

What makes CrumbLab special?

CrumbLab is where I get to mix my love of flavour with my love of cookies. I have always loved to experiment with new flavours, textures and techniques, and here is where it has ended up! Plus my inbuilt desire to feed people doesn't hurt. 
While I love a classic, I really love to see how I can take it to the next level, use ingredients that make you double take, and make something that you won't forget in a hurry.
